MNRE adds 35 solar PV modules manufacturers in revised ALMM List-I

The additions cover 103 n-type TOPCon and 41 mono PERC model lines, with module efficiencies from 19.01 percent to 24.43 percent.

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has issued the latest revision of its ALMM List-I for solar PV modules. The updated data includes 35 manufacturer entries with a combined enlisted capacity of 66.308 GW per year.

Only those models of Solar PV Modules have been considered for enlistment under ALMM List-I whose module efficiency meets the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria include off-grid projects/applications like solar lamps, solar lights, solar street lights, solar fans, etc. (other than solar-powered agricultural pumps and solar PV rooftops) requiring the individual capacity of each solar PV module deployed to be less than 200 Watt peak.

Waaree Energies Limited leads with 16.444 GW capacity. Its listed products include Mono c-Si PERC M10 Flexible Module and Bifacial N-Type TOPCon G12R Module (Glass to Glass). Waree Energies is followed by Sangam Solar One Private Limited with 9.234 GW capacity for Bifacial N-Type TOPCon M10R Module (Glass to Glass) and Adani New Industries Limited with 4.781 GW capacity for Bifacial N-Type TOPCon (Glass to Glass).

The additions cover 103 n-type TOPCon and 41 mono PERC model lines, with module efficiencies from 19.01 percent to 24.43 percent. Only models that meet BIS standards and the ministry’s minimum efficiency thresholds are enlisted and the new enlistments run to 15 September 2030, subject to valid BIS registration.
