Waaree Energies Limited has received a 2 GW solar module supply order from a renowned domestic customer and a leading solar developer. A regulatory filing with the stock exchanges states that the company would supply the modules during financial years 2026-27 and 2027-28. The order is classified as a one-time order. The filing also simply identifies the awarding entity as a domestic entity.

It is probably among the largest single order ever received by the firm. However, Waaree Energies has not disclosed the financial value of the order. It will certainly add to Waaree Energies’ order book. The company also confirmed that the order does not involve any interest from its promoter or promoter group in the awarding entity. The contract does not fall under related-party transactions.
