The scope of the rooftop solar project includes the supply of solar generation meters and bidirectional meters. The goods supplied under the contract must be fully insured by the vendor at their own expense against all losses/damages suffered in transit to the delivery point.

Haryana government has issued a tender to invite bids for the tentative development of 100 MWp of grid-connected rooftop (GCRT) solar plants excluding batteries. The bidders are to design, supply, erect, test and commission rooftop solar projects, as well as maintain the rooftop solar plants for seven years in several sites in Haryana and Chandigarh. Bids have been invited until October 30, 2026.

The scope of the rooftop solar project includes the supply of solar generation meters and bidirectional meters. The goods supplied under the contract must be fully insured by the vendor at their own expense against all losses/damages suffered in transit to the delivery point.

The developer must also comply with the latest specifications and accuracy classes prescribed under the applicable Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC) and DISCOM instructions at the time of installation.

The bidder must supply components such as wires, cables, switches, circuit breakers, connectors, junction boxes, changeover switches and other associated components the scope of the work. It would also be required to meet the latest applicable International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) standards.

The scope of work also includes performance testing of the complete project, after-sales service through service centres, and coverage of the risk liability of all personnel associated with the project’s implementation and execution.

Following commissioning, the successful bidder must train at least one person nominated by the user at each location on various aspects of the project’s design and maintenance. The bidder must also operate the project on a trial basis and closely monitor its performance before handing it over.
